Bluebonnets 2012

Spontaneity?  What in the world is that?! 

These days it is pretty hard to be spontaneous...especially on the weekends! I don't know what it was about today, but I had two wild moments and just went with them! Ashton had a softball game, and after that Auntie Heather and I decided we should go to the movies to see the Hunger Games...so we did. It was planned on the fly and so much fun to hang out with my Big Sis. 

Then, as soon as I walked in the door from the movie, I decided we should go take pictures in the bluebonnets. I knew they had been around for a week or so and wasn't sure how long they would last. We almost didn't go because we ALWAYS go with our peeps. I knew the Leonards were at a dance competition and I knew the Scheer-Mixons usually go to church on Saturday nights, so that meant we were gonna have to go solo. We went with it and the girls were NOT happy to go alone! I told them we would try and plan to go again with our peeps.

You'll be able to tell how "on the fly" we were by my daughters' hair....not done at all!

Bluebonnet pictures are some of my favorites of the year! I sure hope we get Round 2 with our peeps before they are gone!
