You know what I love about my Hubs? I love that he was excited to take a day off of work to spend it volunteering at Ashton's school.
A couple of years ago, Frisco ISD started using the Watch D.O.G.S. program encouraging Dads to get involved with their child's school. The schools always have a ton of Moms involved, but there were only a handful of DADS. Bobby has always tried to help out when he could and enjoyed it, so he totally jumped all over the chance to do something that was for Dads only (I love that about him)!
He participated last year and really got a good idea of what goes on in the school during the day. He was able to interact with the students, he helped out in Ashton's classroom and just really had an awesome time with his experience. With Ashton being at a new school this year, he was looking forward to his day even more than before.
Back in the fall, the school had a Watch DOG Kickoff where the Dads came with the kids, had pizza and signed up for "their" day. Friday was Bobby's Watch DOG day and both he and Ashton were super excited!
I had to snap a few pictures before they headed out (I really wish I could have taken pictures of him doing his Watch DOG responsibilities during the day, but I think that would have been a bit much even for this member of the mamarazzi!)

Our Big Girl was thrilled to take her Daddy to school to show him off! He was elated that she thinks it is still cool to have her Dad at school with her!
And...we can't let the Littlest Girl get left out! She knows Daddy can't come spend the day at her school until she is in Kindergarten, but she at least still wanted her picture taken with him!
Bobby didn't come home quite as exhausted as last year--this school was a lot easier on the Dads. He had a great time and he is looking forward to doing it again next year. This is something that I thing is genius and I love that he was able to participate. I love that this is something that hopefully Ashton will remember--I know her Daddy sure will.
I have said it before and I am going to say it again...I think Bobby is a FANTASTIC dad and I hope our girls realize how lucky they are to have him. He loves those two little girls more than they will ever know and he would do anything for them. Seeing their faces light up with their smiles is one of the greatest sights EVER!
