New Year's Eve this year was very much like last year...we had a low key evening hanging out at the Scheer-Mixons house. The Olsons were in town so they were able to join us and the Leonards. We had some yummy snacks to munch on while we hung out waiting to ring in twenty-twelve.
Miss Gina had a few little poppers and noise makers for the kids to celebrate with when midnight rolled around. The funny thing is that this is the first year that Ashton actually took part in these types of noisemakers. She has never been a fan of things that make loud noises so the fact that she was into it was HUGE. And as for Landry, she isn't afraid of many things so she threw herself right into the poppers!
After we toasted midnight, we tried to get a group picture of all 7 kids. That was no easy task, it was nearly impossible to get them all looking and all in the picture at one time.
Bailey and Chris were having their own fun with the noisemakers which made for some precious pictures!
Shortly after the clock struck midnight and 2012 arrived, we cleaned up and headed home--that seems to be how we roll on NYE these days. We are so glad we were able to celebrate BryceLeonardOlsonScheer-Mixon style this year.

ha...i just laughed at "seems to be how we roll these days". ain't that the truth! it may not be a glamourous way to ring in the new year, but i sure do love it! nothing better than spending it with our FAMILY! xo.
