Continuing on with our Halloween fun....
Since we had some very special visitors in town again this year (We are totally loving this little Halloween Weekend visit from Mamo and Papo, and I think the girls have decided this should be a tradition from now on) we had our peeps come over and trick-or-treat with us. We were all very excited to have Mamo, Papo, Mamo-the-Great, the Leonards, and the Scheers come to our house, but we were also pretty excited to trick-or-treat in our NEW neighborhood.
Once we got home from LP's Halloween Party at Prodigy, we had our traditional Rudy's BBQ dinner before we got the girls ready for trick-or-treating.
Our Rainbow Bug and Athena the Greek Goddess were bouncing off the walls with excitement!
Landry chose this costume all by herself and for her, the best part about the whole thing was the fact that she got to wear glow bracelets! She was happy to pose for us!
Before we headed out for some trick-or-treating, the Mamarazzi was in full force so of course we took LOTS of pictures...
{Ashton wanted to be Athena last year but we couldn't find the costume in her size. So this year it was a no brainer and we made sure we got it early. And yes, our Athena is sporting some fun pink fake eyelashes that were a treat from Mamo and Papo}
Since we wanted to meet some of our new neighbors, we took turns staying at the house handing out candy. This handsome guy took the first shift while I took the second shift.
Of course the kids have to "practice" at our house first.
It is funny to me, that ringing the doorbell is the most fun part. The kids have a system in place: they take turns usually going youngest to oldest and you can't ring it until the entire group is there.
Once we finished trick-or-treating, the grown ups checked out the candy, the kids swapped out non-dairy and dairy candy to make sure that Carly's and Grayson's buckets were full of yummy candy they could eat.
We had a fantastic Halloween and we are so glad our friends came to our house again this year. We also loved having the grands and a great-grand with us! A perfect Halloween!
