After Thanksgiving, we always look forward to putting up the Christmas decorations. The first decorations to come out of the attic are the trees for the girls to put in their rooms. With the way our weekend went, we weren't able to get the trees up until tonight.
It is always fun to watch the girls pull out their ornaments and reminisce about where they got each one. I love the "oh, I remember this one. I got it from _______" that comes with each ornament.
Ashton wanted to do her tree all on her own. She is SO nine right now and very independent. She did let her Lil Sis help her decorate an ornament before she dove into her tree decorations.
Landry was over the moon to be included in Sisser's tree decorating even if it was only for a little bit.
That is a look of serious concentration right there!
Landry was beyond tickled to get busy on her own tree. She carefully placed each and every ornament in just the right spot. She was pretty proud of her decorating.
Being able to stand on top of her dresser to decorate her tree was a fun bonus and of course the only way up there is for Daddy to help her up and down.
This is such a fun tradition and I love that their collection of ornaments grows every year. I love watching them choose the ornaments and put them on. I love that ARB is getting better at spreading them out over her tree, and I love that Landry is still in the "clumping" phase. Their trees turn out so cute and the look on their faces when they walk into their rooms and see their trees is priceless.
