Celebrating A New Family

I love weddings. I love the anticipation of seeing the bride. I love seeing the church beautifully decorated with the personalities of the bride and groom peering through in all the touches around you. I love seeing the commitment the bride and groom make to each other. I love seeing the families and friends in the pews filled with excitement. I just love weddings.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to be a part of Miss Gina's and Mr. Andrew's wedding. The girls were so beyond excited.  Ashton hasn't been to very many weddings in her life and the last one she went to, she was three and the flower girl in Auntie Megan's wedding. This was Landry' very first wedding ever.

{I know I sound like a broken record, but once again I didn't bring my camera. And once again, Miss Jodi rescued me and shared her pictures. Otherwise, I would have NO documentation of this major event!}

The big girls were SO EXCITED to see Miss Gina. They sat by themselves and waited patiently for the wedding to start. (I love that Miss Jodi snapped these two pictures.) Landry and Carly sat side by side with us and they were constantly chatting and putting their arms around each other and trying to wait patiently for the Miss Gina to walk down the aisle.

After the ceremony, the reception was held at a quaint little cottage. No detail was overlooked when it came to the decorations. There were so many personal and fun touches sprinkled throughout the reception area.

The kids gathered and waited anxiously for the bride and groom to arrive. And Miss Gina and Mr. Andrew were welcomed by the cutest little welcoming committee ever!

We brought clothes for the kids to change into and they had the best time running around playing in the grass and the gazebo. There was even a little house for the little ones to play in which was stocked with crayons, and crafts and some toys!

One of the things Gina had at the reception was a super fun photo booth. They had a few different wooden frames and props to take pictures with. I know the photographer took some good ones of the The Bryce Fam, but I haven't had a chance to see them yet. Those pictures along with these will be a fun reminder of this special day!

It was such a beautiful wedding and we are so glad the Gina, Andrew, Grayson, and Anna are now the Scheer-Mixons.
