Summer Camps!

This week was the week that both girls were in summer camps. It was a busy week, but they both had a ton of fun. They had been looking forward to this week all summer long!

First up...Lan-Lan had her very first dance camp. This girl has been toted along to all of Ashton's dance classes and recitals for her entire 3 year old life. Saying she loves to dance is a huge understatement--I guess you could say she was destined to dance just like her Big Sis. She has been twirling all over the dance studio since she could walk and could not wait for her turn to actually participate. She was so glad that she was FINALLY going to have her turn to dance...in a room, with a teacher, all by herself!

She had been telling me all summer that when it was time for her dance camp, I could just drop her off at Prodigy and then leave and go somewhere. She didn't need me to stay. And when it was time to pick her up, I should just stay in the car and she would just run out all by herself. She thinks she is 9 like her big sister and forgets that she is only 3 {needless to say, neither of those things happened and won't until she is about 8}! This girl was more than ready for her Princess Dance Camp!

She was so excited to put on her leotard and tights, but the best part of all was when I put her hair in a bun. Oh my word...she was so giddy and it was absolutely precious!!

She ran from the car to the door all while leaving me in her dust trying to keep up! She wouldn't even stop long enough for me to get a picture of her outside the studio.

Ashton was so pumped to be doing a week long All Aspects Softball Camp.

On day two, I was able to get LP to stop long enough for me to get some pictures outside the studio before she took off running inside at full speed!
{I didn't get any pictures of her in her class because the window was covered.}

This girl was so PUMPED to get her very own PURPLE PRODIGY SHIRT! She put it on immediately and did not want to take it off!
 We are so glad  Miss Taylor ended up being her teacher!  She has seen Miss Taylor around the studio and Miss Taylor was at Carly's Dance Birthday Party, so she felt like she knew her (not to mention she talks about Miss Taylor all the time in her pretend world of dance). Miss Taylor was so awesome with Landry especially since Landry was your typical 3.5 year old with the attention span of a gnat at times! She had the most perfect week at Princess Camp...in fact she is ready for her actual weekly class to start!

Ashton had fun at her softball camp. Every day when I picked her up she had so much to tell me!  She was pretty excited that her buddy, was there too. I know she learned some new things and we can't wait to see her progress this season as she starts Fall Ball!

This was one tired Momma after driving the kids to and from their camps, but I would do it everyday just to see them having a good time!
