A Suite Ranger Game

Yesterday our little family had a pretty cool date night--one that the four of us have never done together.  Daddy's work had Family Night at the Rangers game. This was the first Rangers game for all four of us to attend and Landry's first ever. The best part was that we had a suite!  With it being so dang hot, it was the perfect way to see a Rangers game.

The girls were pumped...Daddy is always watching the Rangers on tv,  so the girls are fans by association. Ashton actually enjoys watching sports on tv with Daddy, (she is Daddy's little boy in a girl body that way, and she loves the bonding time with him) while Landry just loves to cheer when they cheer. Both girls are pretty familiar with several names of Rangers players.

As we were walking up to the ballpark from our car, we got a good, in person look at the new Cowboys stadium (aka Jerry World).

Once we got inside the suite, it was time for some dinner and not the usual ball park food. We had fajitas, nachos, and an array of snacks and drinks. Before Ashton ate, she had to check out the Game Day program.

My little photographer in training wanted to take a picture of me and Lan-Lan, I thought she took more than one, but she didn't so we had to go with the "mommy bug eyed picture".

Right outside the suite, we had our own little section of seats to watch the game (you know if you wanted to watch it live rather than on the tv inside the air conditioned suite).
Miss Sandra had raffle tickets for the kids and door prizes. She thought of everything. The girls won antlers and a foam finger. Believe it or not, the foam finger was what the rest of the kids wanted.

We got to sit for a minute and catch our breath....keeping up with Landry was a lot of work. I don't think I saw much of the game. The suite area isn't exactly "Landry proofed" but than again, there really isn't much that is! Don't get me wrong, we had a great time and so did the girls!
Our little Ranger fans!

We were in the Hank Aaron suite (we actually had two suites that were next to each other-I just snapped a pic as we were walking in when we got there). Our suite was on the third base line right by the left fielder, Josh Hamilton. Josh Hamilton is the girls' favorite player so that was pretty cool! I loved that David Murphy "Murph" was on fire. He is a  Baylor Bear from back in my day and he hit a ton of home runs this game. It was awesome!  The girls finally got to meet some of Daddy's co-workers, Mr. Kurt (aka Paw-Paw) and Mr. Pete.

Landry might have found her future husband...if only we could have an arranged marriage for her and Zayden (Miss Sandra's grandson). He just turned four and is the cutest little guy! She played with him when he wasn't totally into the game. They sat in the same chair and she was rubbing his back and she hugged him a lot. I wish I had a picture of them together from the front because they were super duper cute together!

The best part of the night was the firework show after the game. I have seen many firework shows in my life, but I have to say that this was by far one of the best I can remember. It was totally awesome! It was the perfect way to end the evening.

We had a FANTASTIC Family Date Night!
