...Day Two...
Believe it or not, I didn't take one single picture on the second day of our vacay! I think this is a first for me! We spent the day running errands getting ready for Sunday's shin dig. I promise nothing exciting happened and there weren't any cute picture moments for me to capture.
...Day Three...
This was Sunday and Mamo and Papo had planned for the Tennessee Bryces to come to Huntsville for a cookout. It was so sweet of them to go to all that trouble so we could visit with Daddy's cousins. Most of Daddy's cousins made the (of the ones who live in the area) hour and half trip to spend the day. The girls had fun getting things ready...they were excellent helpers!
Landry was pretty pumped when she found out there would be TWO people younger than her at the get together. This poor girl is constantly being told she isn't big enough or old enough to do __________. She gave us the run down of all the things that almost two year old Luke and one month old Brooklynn wouldn't be able to do because they weren't big enough. She was finally getting to say that to someone!
Lan-Lan and Luke played their own version of Corn Hole and they had fun wandering around together.
Papo worked his grill magic and cooked some delicious grub.
Uncle Todd, Alyssa, Victoria, Scott, Ashton and Daddy played LOTS of softball and had a blast!
Great Aunt Kathi brought her sno cone machine and made some delish sno cones which the kiddos devoured in about 2 seconds flat!
Robert (Daddy's Cousin Kimberly's fiancee) and Papo hung out on the patio chattin' and watchin' the kiddos.
I love this three year old smiley girl who was especially cooperative with the camera today!!
Can you tell Ashton had fun being outside barefoot in the grass for most of the day? I couldn't believe how dirty her feet were when she came inside...gross! We went straight to the tub and if it wasn't for the super bright pink nail polish the Leonards gave her for her birthday, we might not've been able to see her toes!
Just before we put LP in the tub, she snuggled up to Uncle Todd. It was so funny because last summer she made Uncle Todd do "tricks" to get her attention, but not this time. She was ALL OVER him and they both loved every second of it!
Today was an awesome day. It was so nice to Kim and her kiddos again and to finally meet her fiancee. We also had never met Katie's husband Matt, and we got to meet Luke and Brooklynn. We also hadn't seen Aunt Lynn in a while either so it was nice of her to drive down. Aunt Kathi and Uncle Jack always make the trips to see us and we appreciate them making this one too.
On Day Four we have a trip to T-Town planned which we are looking forward to.
