...Day Five...
Oh how I love this guy! As we were leaving, Bobby found these sunglasses in his mom's car. He couldn't believe she owned them because they looked like bug eyes. He put them on and waited for her to notice while he was getting Landry's car seat buckled in. I almost tee-teed in my pants when I saw him. I just had to get a picture, but since we were in the garage and there wasn't enough good light, the picture didn't come out so great.
Some of the tree houses were the same from last year, but there were new ones too.
This was the first spot with water....and they both wanted to get WET! Since the water was only on the big rocks, Ashton figured out how to get herself mostly wet. I am not sure about the pose, but she did manage to get cooled off because she turned over to get her tummy wet after she finished with her back!
Landry immediately took off her shoes to get them wet. She thought we were going to let her walk around without her shoes and was not so happy when we told her to put her shoes back on.
I L*O*V*E* these kinds of pictures...the girls walking holding hands...the cute buns...the Big Sister and the Little Sister...absolutely love them!!
I was impressed with how well she did on the rope swing...I didn't think she would be able to hold herself up but she totally did it and loved it!
This picture of Mamo and Papo was courtesy of Miss Landry Paige....not too shabby!
I am pretty sure she is the ONLY kid to get filthy like this at a water place. She was already soaking wet from playing in all the fun water things and then she went to the garden and tried her hand with the shovel. Well ...the dirt flung everywhere and stuck to her.
No butterflies landed on the girls this time but they did get to "pet" a turtle.
The only plans we had for the rest of the day were to PLAY outside in the backyard. Papo got the pool set up for the girls and pulled out all the other fun backyard toys.
The downside to playing in the backyard pool is the grass that comes in. Ashton knew exactly how to get all the grass out. They took turns having "Grass Duty" which didn't interrupt their fun at all!
Sno Cones for an afternoon treat...YES PLEASE!!
After dinner we roasted the most ginormous marshmallows ever!
