Right now the big craze around here with little girls (and big girls and women too) is to wear fake feathers in their hair. I am not usually one to jump on the band wagon with these kinds of things, but with some swaying and convincing from Daddy and Ashton, I agreed to let ARB jump on board.
Part of us agreeing to let her do it was that she needed to use her own money to pay for half and we covered the other half. {She doesn't spend her money on just anything, she loves to save it and get something good. We know that if she wants to use her own money, than it is something she thinks is worth it!} It was so cute to see how giddy and excited she was as we pulled up and walked into the salon!
She looked through the color choices and decided on turquoise, pink, and white. Those are her favorite colors so it was no surprise!
She sat very still while the lady put them in and gave us directions on how to care for them and what to do when we wanted them taken out.
And there you have it....FEATHERS. She is so stinkin' excited and she absolutely loves them! I am glad they are subtle and not tacky or terribly noticeable. They make for a fun summer treat!
