Crafting Momma #3

This week's craft was the one Ashton had been looking forward to all summer long. We told her that once we moved into the house, we would let her paint the shelf in her closet however she wanted. She was super excited to let her creative juices flow. Getting rid of the bright yellow was a bonus too!

Since Brodie spent the night with us, he was here to help. She chose 'turquoise gem" as the color for the shelf...it was a difficult choice {there were several turquoise colors she fell in love with} for our newly nine year old girl to make, but she ended up with a color she loves!

Here she goes.....
Brodie was an awesome helper!
All finished with the paint....then it was time to mod podge the zebra paper onto the shelves and add the bling!
She LOVES the way it turned out!
{I forgot to take a picture of it before I put in the closet and put the stuff on it, so it made it a little difficult to get a picture with it in the closet}
