Father's Day

The girls and I absolutely love Father's Day! We love being able to celebrate all the fabulous Daddies in our lives, but most of all we love being able to celebrate and spoil OUR Daddy!

The girls (especially Ashton) love being able to have a say in what we do for Daddy each year. There are the traditional things we do every year, and the things the girls make for Daddy every year. The things made by the girls are always his favorite. So after scournig the internet for ideas, we came across some perfect projects. We had so much fun prepping for Father's Day!!

We started the day by letting Daddy sleep in while we put the finishing touches on his gifts and we made him a yummy breakfast of his choice...WAFFLES! 

I had the TWO BEST helpers in the kitchen. Those waffles were delish and it was because they were made by Daddy's Girls!

Landry loved stirring the batter...she didn't love having to share the stirring with Sisser!

After our tummies were full from breakfast, it was time for Daddy to open his presents. The girls could hardly wait!!

I took the girls shopping and let them choose a work shirt for Daddy and they also each picked out a tie to match his new shirt! Ashton and Landry were extremely proud of their picks and Daddy loved what they chose!

The next present was the picture for his photo book....this is always his most favorite gift of all every year. His book was still packed so we had to wrap up the picture and he will add it when we find the box with his book!

Here is this year's picture for his photo book.I can't believe they are almost 9 and 3.5...crazy!!

The traditional Father's Day cuff links...the girls love giving these to him and they love even more when he wears them!  He has accumulated quite the collection since we started this tradition.

We saved the best for last--the iphone card we made. Ashton was ALL OVER this idea and couldn't wait to give it to him!

I found this idea on Tip Junkie. Ashton and I found the apps he has on his phone and printed them off on the computer. Then she cut them out and we glued them on to the iphone. Each app had a special message written on the inside. It turned out super cute and he LOVED it!

Picture Time!!

We went out for lunch to one of Daddy's favorite places...Scotty P's. Once we finished lunch, we headed home to relax and let Daddy watch some golf!

We had a fantastic Father's Day! We are so lucky to have the Best Daddy Ever. Bobby is so loving with our girls and it makes me fall in love with him over and over watching him with them. I love how he lights up when he walks in the house and our little girls run at him and jump into his arms with the biggest hugs and kisses for him. They love their Daddy and he is the bravest and smartest guy on the planet. He makes everything better. He has the best kisses and hugs. He plays the best games, gives the best baths, and sings the best rock version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.  Everything is so much more fun and cooler when Daddy does it.  He makes every second count and he loves being a Daddy.
