Since Friday was supposed to be a day off of school for Ashton (that is until we had the horrible weather that put us in lock down for 4 days back in February) Carroll's student council sponsored a "Hawaiian Day" for the school. The kids were encouraged to bust out some Hawaiian gear in an attempt to win the Best Dressed in their grade.
Ashton loves ALL the themed days at her school, but she was especially pumped for this one. She had a blast choosing what to wear down to every last detail. I snapped a few pictures of my Hawaiian Girl before she went to school...
She did a little hula dancing along with her poses for me while I watched through my lens.
Landry was still in her jammies when we left to take Ashton to school and these days we have major issues if she doesn't have something that matches Ashton. Luckily, on this day I just happened to have coordinating outfits when it came time for her to get dressed. She was a happy camper and in true Landry form, wanted to do exactly what Ashton did. So, she ASKED me to take her Hawaiian pictures. She too did some hula dancing for me and threw in some poses. Some days the picture taking is easy!
Little Bitty hula dancing and posing....
Then all of a sudden she turned on the "Animated Landry" and busted out with these silly faces.
I love taking pictures of my kids...and one of these days I might actually take a class that helps me take better ones and shows me how to use my camera!
