Today Landry experienced her very first Apple Creek Picnic. We have had the pleasure of going when Ashton was at Apple Creek so it was neat to take our littlest girl for her turn. The picnic and Apple Creek have grown a lot since the last time we were in attendance!
Sisser had a birthday party for one of her friends from school so she missed out on the first part. but that meant that Miss Landry had Mommy and Daddy all to herself.
When we first arrived, we ate our lunch then had some fun with the activities.
First up was a photo op with Sleeping Beauty and she was giving out princess silly bands as a bonus!
Next she had to get her groove on with the DJ...the girl loves her some dancing!
Then it was time to have a turn on the bouncy slide.
While we waited for the Leonards to finish their lunch since they got there after us, she played with some sidewalk chalk.
A little more dancing with the Carroll Siblings and fellow Apple Creekers Jocelyn and Valen.
Once Carly was finished with lunch, they both got tattoos. LP was so proud to be matching with CA.
Carly had her turn with Sleeping Beauty too.
One more hug with Carly and then it was time to head to the playground which is what they both really wanted anyway!
When Mommy went to do her volunteer time, Daddy took the girls to get a snow cone.
The Leonards got Carly one too.
After Daddy picked up Sis from her party and brought her back, she got a snow cone too. Good thing Miss Jodi captured these pictures for me and all the ones of the girls on the playground.
We were missing the other Big Sis in the group. Macy was at dance rehearsal so she didn't get to come to the picnic and Ashton was especially bummed to miss out on time with her BFF!
The picnic was fun and Landry enjoyed herself. It was so neat watching our little Social Butterfly when she saw her friends from her class and her teachers. She thought it was pretty cool to see them outside of school.
I am sad that this is our last AC picnic with the Leonards. They have been to every single one since Ashton, Macy and Grayson were three year olds. Now that Carly is graduating from preschool, she won't be at AC anymore. At least the Littles got to have one picnic that was theirs together!
