It's no secret that I love traditions. It is also no secret that this year has been one for the record books as far as traditions go....the most traditions not kept in a year that is!
This year the Easter Bunny wasn't able to hide the girls' eggs outside like he usually does....it had rained the night before and he didn't want the girls to get all wet and icky from hunting them outside in the wet grass. So this year, the Easter Bunny only hid the plastic eggs...in the apartment. The girls questioned why they couldn't go outside for the eggs and quickly moved on and were just happy to hunt.
The Easter Bunny did leave the girls some fun goodies in their baskets...
Landry's basket on the left and Ashton's basket on the right.
I love trying to capture their faces when they see their baskets waiting for them on the table!
They LOVE checking out their goodies!
Ashton was beyond THRILLED with her "blinged out sunglasses"...
Landry's eyes are closed in just about every single picture we take these days...that is just how she smiles!
Let the hunting begin!
And here we are right in the middle of our three year old....well being three! She did NOT want her picture taken and of course I just HAD to take a picture!!
And then she KINDA decided she would take a picture, but only because we bribed her!
Even though our Easter morning wasn't what we are used to, the girls had fun and that is all that matters! I love that they are so flexible and "go with the flow".
