Landry absolutely loves preschool. Every single time I have picked her up she has had a giant smile on her face and can't wait to tell me about her day. She gives me a very good run down of who did what, what they did, what she played, what she had for snack, how many times she went potty, and the list goes on. I love the daily rundown from my chatty little girl.
Well today when I picked her up, she was even more excited than normal. If I hadn't been driving and if I had the camera I would have either recorded it or took some pix of her face because it was awesome!
After I buckled her into her seat and I got in the car, she began squealing and kicking and was talking so loud and fast I couldn't understand her. Once I got her to slow down and start over, it was totally clear. She had some-fing in her backpack that she made with lots of fings, and it shakes. She told me when we got home she would pull it out of her backpack and show me. It was going to be a suh-pwize! Well, I was totally hooked and couldn't wait to see the suh-pwize!
We walked in the door and I grabbed my camera for the big reveal. It was awesome...
TA-DA...it is a shaker fing! {also known as a maraca}
shaka-shaka-shaka!
Proud doesn't even begin to explain how this little girl felt about her shaker fing. This is by far her most favorite thing she has ever made at school!
This bad boy has been used A LOT!
