Playoffs Baby!!

The day after Thanksgiving which is best known to me as Black Friday was a busy one that actually began on Thanksgiving night....and it will NEVER EVER again begin on Thanksgiving night. EVER.

Jodi snapped this picture and the fact that it is a total blur is quite fitting and I am so glad she got it. 

You see, Jodi and I always get up early to go shopping on BF. We very carefully plan our day and we score great deals and have tons of fun in the process. Well, when I saw that TRU was opening at 10 on Thanksgiving, I mentioned that maybe we could try it out since it is a crazy mess on Black Friday. Neither of us really knew what to expect....it was CRAZY! Let's just say we got into our parking spot at 9:35 and we pulled out around 12:50ish. So it was a blur and something we would like to put out of our minds.

But after a quick run through the Whataburger drive thru for some french fries and Dr.Pepper, we felt a little better. We headed to my house to get some sleep since we were planning on getting up at 4:45am to be at Target by 5.  Neither of us really got much sleep...but the rest of our Black Friday was smooth sailing and lots of fun.

Jodi's car was FULL of our stuff...we totally scored some fantastic deals and got a lot accomplished. I seriously love the junk food and shopping and company that BF brings with it every year! I am so glad I got Jodi hooked!

While we were out taking care of BF business, the girls were having a great time hanging at our house.  The Leonard Girls (even Miss Jodi) spent the night at our house since Daddy was going to watch all four girls.  Miss Jodi's parents usually keep Macy and Carly but since Mimi has a job now and she had to work on BF, they came and spent the day with Mr. Bobby and the girls. They had a total blast!

Mr. Bobby didn't snap any pictures of the girls, but I got one just before Miss Jodi took Macy and Carly home (please pardon Landry dressed in only her panties...she was in between outfits which is the norm for her these days).

The day didn't end there.  Uncle Chris' football team made it to the playoffs. And since they were playing at Cowboys Stadium, Mr. Bill and Daddy took the  Big Girls to the game. Miss Gina and her crew also went.

This picture is one of my faves of MG and ARB...other than they look waaayyy too grown up.  Ashton bought a Best Friends Necklace and gave half to Macy a few weeks ago, so when Miss Jodi saw these Best Friends shirts she grabbed them and MG was happy to pay for Ashton's.  Miss Jodi snapped this picture before the girls left with the Daddies for the game.

Everyone had a great time at the game. They enjoyed some yummy snacks and cheered for the Bastrop Bears.  BB did a great job of snapping some pix during the game...

They eventually got GT to look away from the game long enough to take a picture with the girls.

Mr. Bill took this one on his phone...They were having their own little convo and sharing some popcorn. How cute are they?!

It was a long day and night. While the Big Girls were off with their Daddies at the game, the Mommies had some time with the Littles-but not together. I knew Landry wasn't ready for a 3 hour football game especially one that was supposed to start at 7:30 and that was IF the other games were on schedule. I just didn't think it was worth it to fight with her and to keep her up that late. I wouldn't have been able to watch the game anyway.  Little did I know  she would be up until almost 11 anyway. Yepper....she didn't cooperate with her super tired Momma. She usually never gives us trouble at bedtime and tonight just happened to be the rare night that she wouldn't  cooperate.  

I truly love BF and love that the Bastrop Bears were in the playoffs for an extra special bonus!
