Halloween @ Dance

Ashton was so looking forward to dance this week because she got to wear her Halloween costume. This was the first opportunity she had to wear it and she was totally jazzed!  We left all the accessories at home so they didn't get in the way while she was doing her ballet thang. She could not wait to see what the others girls decided to dress up as.

Macy's Movie Star costume was one of Ashton's choices and for some totally out of character reason she didn't want to be the same thing as Macy, so she settled on the Salsa Dancer (which I am glad because it was more her this year)  She really wanted to be Athena the Greek Goddess and when that one was unavailable it was down to the Movie Star or the Salsa Dancer, once she tried on the Salsa Dancer costume she was sold and very happy with her choice!

A Beautiful Movie Star and a Precious Princess

Ashton only does Jazz and Ballet while the other girls in her class are all on the Prep Company Team.  By the time Ashton gets to dance on Thursdays, the other girls have already done two classes so I wasn't able to get any pictures of the girls in ballet class together.  As you will see below, I had to try and snap some through the window which is why they aren't that great. As a bonus, the girls got to dance in the "big" room because the older company girls were at  the Cowboys Stadium practicing for the Halloween Halftime show....how cool is that?! Ashton was loving that the "Big Girls" were performing at the Cowboys game!

There were some super cute Halloween decorations in the studio, like this Prodigy Pumpkin.

And this little punkin pie, wanted me to take her picture since I was taking pictures of Sis. I was happy to oblige because after all, it isn't very often that I get her to cooperate when it comes to picture taking!
