On Sunday, after we finished at the pumpkin patch, we headed over to Gina's hoping we got there just as Grayson and Anna were getting back. Miss Gina made a yummilicious dinner and then it was time to get to the carving.
Like last year, we only had enough time to carve one pumpkin since it was a school night and since last year the Big Kids got their pumpkins carved first, it was only fair that the Little Girls got theirs done first this year.
It was a lot more fun this year since the girls are older (especially Landry) so they were able to participate more...well as much as they wanted to anyway.
Daddy and Landry had chosen and printed her face earlier in the day.
LP was not quite sure about the whole inside of the pumpkin thing. Once she saw the inside, she wanted no part of it. Good thing for her, Daddy doesn't mind taking care of it for her!
I love how you can see all the girls watching their pumpkins being carved.
Mr. Andrew had a good time carving....Anna supervised and loved every second of it! You can see the pure delight on her face in these pictures!
Anna and Mr. Andrew

Carly was the most involved of the Littles. She got down and dirty with her pumpkin and she totally rocked!
I mean seriously, look at that face! Miss Jodi got some GREAT pics of her and her Daddy in action!

look at the concentration!
There she is...the proud owner of that cute little Jack-O-Lantern!
We wanted a picture of all six kiddos together before we left. Miss Jodi had to snap away while I was on "Landry Duty" since she kept trying to escape!
And here is Landry's finished Jack-O-Lantern.
This picture is horribly blurry, but I just had to use it. This was her face when she saw her pumpkin for the first time after Daddy had finished carving it for her. She was in awe and it was too cute!
The Great Pumpkin Carving .... Part 2: The Big Sisters
Since we only had time for one pumpkin on Sunday, we did Ashton's and Macy's pumpkins tonight at our own houses and just shared the pictures so it was just like we were there!Ashton was so excited to do her pumpkin and since Daddy didn't have a softball game this week, it worked out just perfectly!
Our Peace Girl and her pumpkin...ready to get to work!
Daddy did the cutting and ARB did the cleaning out for the first time, I think. In the past, she usually comes and scoops at least once and she's done. But this year, she stuck it out and did a good bit of it herself!
Cleaning out the pumpkin guts is not her favorite part...but I am proud of her for doing it anyway!
She said she wanted a "scary" face this year....and this is the scary face she chose. Lucky for Daddy it wasn't too difficult!
She really wanted to poke the holes, so Daddy showed her while she watched ever so intently.
Then she was ready to get after it... all.by.herself!
I love this picture of them...so precious!
Ashton's finished "SCARY" Jack-O-Lantern
On to Macy Gwynne's Pumpkin Carving ...
Macy chose a wolf for her Jack-O-Lantern
Ta-Da! Macy G's wolf....looks pretty cool!

The Leonard Girls' Jack-O-Lanterns
The Great Pumpkin Carving was a TOTAL success...hopefully next year we will be able to get the pumpkins all done in the same night. But once again, it all worked out and everybody was happy!
*We had a bit of a mishap with Landry's pumpkin so the pictures of the Bryce Girls' Jack-O-Lanterns is coming up in the next post.
