Tonight we had another sleep over at the Bryce house with our peeps. The second one in about a month's time. It was jam packed with a ton of action.
The kids had a picnic dinner on the living room floor while they watched Disney's Prep & Landing (which by the way is a SUPER cute show). Landry thinks that we should have a "pic-a-nic" every time the Leonards and Scheers come over. It is hilarious!
After dinner the kids participated in one of our oldest traditions of decorating cookies. We decorate cookies for almost every holiday with the kids and they have a blast. This year was Landry's first time to get in on the cookie decorating action and she is just like the big kids~her favorite part is licking and eating the icing. Which is fine because this year they each got their very own container of icing-no sharing means lick as much as you want!
Ashton and I made the cookies while Daddy made the icing. This year Jodi and I made the executive decision to make things a little easier by only providing white icing. The kids questioned it, but quickly decided white icing and sprinkles would be just fine. They used red to make the stripes on the candy cane and so on. They are so creative!
After the cookie decorating, I had to put Landry in the tub real quick. She was covered in icing and mac-n-cheese and just a hot mess.
Once she was fresh and clean the kiddos put on jammies and we moved onto the gift exchange. We decided we wanted to get a quick picture of all the kids.
I felt the need to include all the pictures I took with my camera. Carly wasn't happy at first and I think it had something to do with where she was sitting or who she was not sitting next to. She had been on the other side of Macy, Miss Jodi asked her to go sit by Anna, and this is the way she chose to sit. I am so glad I snapped it!

I absolutely love it!

Then she turned around, but wasn't smiling...

Now there is the pretty Carly smile, but not so much a great pic for everyone else!

and monkey see, monkey do...Landry decided she needed to pout too!
I love it....I love these kids....I love their personalities....I love the laughs we get from them!
And finally, we moved along to the gift exchange. The kids love choosing names, keeping who they chose a secret and then choosing a little something for their friend. They truly get so excited for each other and love "giving".
It is so sweet to watch the relationships they have with each other. They are friends, but also alot like siblings...they love each other and that makes me happy. These six kiddos are blessed to have each other as life long friends.
Carly drew Ashton's name....can you tell how excited Ashton was to get the Selena Gomez and the Scene CD?!
Grayson drew Landry's name. He got her the cutest little bath tub for her babies and an Elmers Wonder Stamp set. (it is like color wonder and only works on the special paper-genius)
Anna drew Macy's name and Ashton drew Carly's name. A CD for MG and Princess figureines and the same stamper set as Landry for Carly.
Macy drew Grayson's name and gave him this cool football book he had been wanting which was written by the Mannings. Landry drew Anna's name and gave her a Princess and the Frog night gown.
It was a fun evening...even though the Scheers didn't stay the night, Macy and Carly did and they did it without their Mommy and Daddy ( they left around 11 I think-but still left). We all met for a delicious breakfast at Einsteins.
We had such a fun evening...we truly love these peeps.
