John Deere Mania = Parker's Bday

After we finished celebrating with Carly, we had just enough time to run home to change the girls' clothes and grab Parker's gift (two little African Dwarf Frogs-they are so cute and fun to watch) before we needed to head down to Lorena for Parker's 2nd birthday party.

Parker is totally and completely into tractors right now so Auntie Megan planned a super fun John Deere party for him.

There was a bounce house for the kiddos which Landry and Parker wanted nothing to do with. Parker did finally decide it was okay to get in with his Aunt Jen toward the end of the party. We put Landry in twice with her sis and she darted right back out...which is odd because that girl loves to jump. Ashton had a complete ball jumping and jumping and jumping!

He was lovin' his new John Deere hat his Mommy and Daddy gave him!

These two 3 week apart cousins thought they were hot stuff drinking these juices with no straw straight from the bottle.

Ashton in action doin her thang in the bounce house....Landry decided to have her own fun in the ball pit Auntie Megan had out for the babies!

Parker was not interested in his cupcake at all-I am not even sure he took a bite. He spent most of his party sitting at the table playing with the tractors Auntie Megan had on the table as decorations. He didn't want anyone to touch them. He was a happy camper as long as he had is tractors.

Landry however, loved the cupcake!

One of his cards had money in it. He took the money and immediately put it in his pocket just like his Daddy does. It was so funny because he just did it without anyone telling him to.

I can't believe this guy is TWO!

Once Parker decided to get in the bounce house, he had a fun time jumping around with Ashton while Landry was happy to sit in these little chairs and watch with a wipe of course (you know how she has an obsession for baby wipes).

And the finale to the party...Parker came over to get a look at his BIG present from his Mommy and Daddy...his very own John Deere tractor. It was priceless to see the look on his face.

He loved that he can get on it, drive it, and haul stuff in it. I mean this kid was in L.O.V.E

This is how he drove it....looking down at the wheels and then looking back at the trailer. He was in total awe of this tractor. Everyone had to stay out of his way since he wasn't paying attention to where he was going. It was hysterical to watch!

and that tongue...was out most of the time. That is his "I'm concentrating" face and it is just like Grampy's and just like both his Mommy and Daddy.

We had a fun time celebrating with Parker. We enjoyed getting to see family and friends even though we missed Grammy. We wouldn't have missed it.

After the party, we hopped back in the car and headed back home. We thought for sure the girls would crash for the two hour drive home since it was such a busy day. As soon as we got in the car after we had stopped to eat, Ashton crashed but Landry....nope she talked the ENTIRE way home. I mean the ENTIRE way...I had no idea she could talk so much!

Happy 2nd Birthday Parker!
