Landry's friend Reese, had her 2nd birthday and we were so happy to help her celebrate. Landry hasn't been to many birthday parties for her actual friends (you know one that is her age and a girl) and she loved it.
Reese got a fancy new kitchen for her birthday and she was in love...and so was Landry.
Parallel play is what goes on at this age....they were having so much fun!
Landry was having a blast in Reese's Barbie jeep that didn't go anywhere. She was just happy to get in and out of it and "drive".
Here's the Sweet Birthday Girl!
Gabbi is one of Reese's neighbors who is like a big sister to her. Reese actually has three built -in neighbor Big Sisters (Blake and Gabbi's twin Renee). Landry fell in love with Gabbi and wanted her to come home with us. She asked about her for days. The funny part was when Gabbi's twin showed up from play practice and walked in the room. Landry just looked at them and stared...you could see the wheels turning. I am not sure if she has ever seen identical twins before.
Miss Becky made some super cute and really yummy giant cupcakes for this special little 2 year old!
The cake and ice cream were a hit...and Landry sat patiently in the big girl chair waiting for her cake.
Reese shared her pink piano....Landry had remembered this from the last time we were over.
And then it was time for presents....I love how you can barely see Reese's little foot and the top of her head sticking out from behind her big gift bag. Cute....cute...cute!
It was a fun and very special 2nd birthday party. Thanks for letting us help you celebrate Reese!
I look forward to many more birthday celebrations between these two girls! One thing I think is neat....Ashton and Macy are just over two months apart and Landry and Reese are 2 months and a day apart.
