Landry's 22 months old....

Here we go....Landry is 22 months old and only has two more months until she turns TWO! Let's get right to the fun stuff from this month...

*This little "do" is what her hair looks like when we take it down. She is getting so much hair which is making her look more "little girl like".

*She is pretty good with her manners these days. When she says thank you it comes out like this "thank-you-wel-tum". I love to hear her say this!

*She has the funniest facial expressions and the one she makes most often is when she wrinkles up her nose and kind of makes her eyebrows frown. She does this when she is unsure of something and it so funny. One of these days we will get it on camera. We have been trying since she started doing it.

*She is ALL about her Big Sister these days. When it is time to brush her teeth, she wants "Ah-tin" to do it for her. She wants "Ah-tin" to put her in her chair when it is time for dinner. She wants "Ah-tin" to get her a snack. I am loving this stage and so is Ashton!

*You will notice that her shirt is wet....she still LOVES to play in the "wol-er".

*She loves to play with her wooden puzzles!

*Her favorite thing to play right now is still Mommy to her baby dolls. She also loves to play in her kitchen. She prefers to use the kitchen utensils from our kitchen...the whisk is her all time fave!

*Ashton's Barbies with no clothes is one of her new favorite things. Anyhing Ashton has, she wants so she just loves "playing" Barbies with Ashton.

*Bath time is one of the things she likes...filling and dumping a cup of water is what occupies her. Forget the tub of bath toys that are in there for to play with. A cup and her sister are all the girl needs for a pleasnt bath.

*Anytime we put her to bed, she wants us to cover her up with a blanket. Before we even have her in the bed, she says "I cover, I cover".

*She has two favorite questions: "why?" and "dat?". She will ask these over and over continuously for what seems like hours!

*She likes to eat. When she is done feeding herself but not really finished with her meal, she asks Daddy to "feed the birdy". She opens her mouth wide like a baby birdy and Daddy puts a bite in her mouth. She thinks it so funny and giggles after each bite.

*She also every now and then likes to eat like cookie monster. It is pretty funny to hear her trying to get her sweet little girl voice to sound like cookie monster.

*We have been working on her colors. The only one she actually gets right is the yellow school bus. Everything else is "geen" then she thinks it is funny to get it wrong so there is no telling how many colors she actually knows.

*She loves to talk. Man oh man does she like to talk...especially in the car. Daddy and I can't have a conversation. She is a master interrupter and doesn't get it. We have been working on it and I think it will take a while to master that one!

*When Daddy is leaving for work or we are leaving and Daddy is in the office she has to yell to him "I LAW YOU DADDY". It is so cute and Daddy loves it!

*Some of her FAVES right now are: logurt (yogurt) her breakfast fruit of choice, hummus and cackers, mms, ee-mom-ee (edamame), chicken nuggets, foooot sacks (fruit snacks and she says it with her wrinkled nose), ranch on anything and everything, not wearing any clothes, mee-na (music), drinking out of her pee-cess cup with a stawl, the Wiggles, Sesame Street and Elmo, moo-nees (movies), talking on the phone, My Gym, and the Fun Club at Mommy's gym.

I could go on and on but this a good synopsis and some of the things I wanted to remember. She is a happy, smiley, sweet, independent, and stubborn at times little girl. We love her more than she will ever know. Happy 22 months Landry!
