Holiday Picture: The Out Takes

Many of the pictures we took for our holiday cards were "out takes". That is what happens when you have a toddler who is way more interested in running around checking things out than sitting still for pictures. I decided it would be fun to one day look back at this and laugh...we weren't laughing at the time. This is just life with kids....and a toddler.

The beatings we take to get a good holiday card picture...enjoy!

oh what a face....
and a tongue sticking out...
what is this picture missing...oh that would be Landry!

Of course Landry sits still, on her bottom looking in the right direction while every one else is getting on the bench. Then in picture number 2 she is MIA.
This one makes me laugh out loud! Landry was not cooperating, so Daddy decided to put her down out of his lap while Mommy and Ashton are looking at the camera ready for the picture.
Imagine that....Landry doesn't want to sit in the picture!
oh a smile...but looking at the camera, not so much!
The girls were "striking a pose"
Trying to get her to sit on the wall with the Big Girls...
one last picture of the girls before we left....she was D-O-N-E.

I think I broke out into a sweat for this photo shoot....Landry fell and scratched her hand because she was running too fast when we were asking her to walk....not one picture of our girls together by themselves...BUT we did get a decent picture for the card so I guess that means it was successful.

This might just be one of my favorite posts of all time!

I won't miss this stage when it is gone! Not even a little bit and if I do, well I can just go back and look at this post!

That is a great post! I am totally with you on not missing this stage. Whew! I got exhausted just reading it. It's the "spice" part of the "sugar and spice", right? That's my nice way of saying it anyway. Ha!
