Happy Thanksgiving....

It is Thanksgiving which means we headed down to Waco to spend the day with my family. We had a great day and enjoyed hanging out with the family. We also had a nice added bonus this year...Grammy wasn't traveling with the Lady Bears so we were able to have her with us!

I wanted to get a picture of the girls before we left. Landry is in this phase right now where she isn't all that into taking pictures unless it is on her timetable which by the way is almost never. We try and try and try to get her to cooperate but it is hit or miss and quite a beating.

I thought it would be fun to document this stage by putting in one of the many "uncooperative" pictures of her to along with the best shot of the day...

Again with an out take....Grammy was behind the camera trying to get Landry to "look and laugh"....Landry copied some of what Grammy was doing {the tongue sticking out}

I know the quality of this picture isn't the greatest, but I was glad I snapped it...Landry is giving her Great Ninny a smooch so I just had to crop it and get a close up of it...too precious!

I am kicking myself...we waited too long to take pictures and Chris had already left for work so he isn't in any of these. We did enjoy seeing him and we were glad he could eat with us before he went to make some time and a half moola!

Grammy and Grampy live sort of out in the country but not really. The neighbor across the street has two donkeys. The kids love going over to see them and feed them grass. Jon and Brodie always do such a great job of entertaining the little ones and the kiddos love it!


We enjoyed our Thanksgiving day...it is a tradition we cherish and we are really glad we were able to see everyone. We did see Grampy, but he wasn't home yet when the photo shoot took place. Thanks for hosting Grammy and Grampy!

We are so thankful for the many wonderful blessings we have in our lives. We truly are blessed~Happy Thanksgiving!
