All of the second grade classes at Ashton's school performed a few songs from the book Where the Wild Things are. The kids were supposed to come dressed as a beast...so Ashton and Daddy went to work on creating her beast mask.
After a little paint, some pipe cleaner, and some fur the mask was complete!
Here she is the morning of her performance....
She was SUPER excited to have Mamo & Papo visiting so they could watch her performance. We snapped a quick picture before we headed off to school.
She did such a great job. There was one "Max" and he was in Ashton's class. Ashton had the very important job of putting on the crown when the beasts declared Max the King of the Wild Things. She did it perfectly and at the appropriate time.
I always love watching her perform...it is just one of the things you look forward to in elementary school. It was such a cute little performance!
