Trick-or-Treat!

Halloween was a very busy day! It started off with the last Divas game of the season. After the game we came home for some lunch and a little rest before the big night of fun ahead.

Just a few last pics with the pumpkins.

After nap, we let Landry decorate her little pumpkin. She was loving it...Mommy took the paper off the stickers and she went to town sticking them where ever her little heart desired.

When she was all done, she had to find the perfect place to display it. She tried a few spots...really I think she just liked carrying it around.

Here is the finished product...she was so proud of it!

The girls were waiting for our peeps to arrive for the trick-or-treating festivities to begin. They were also chomping at the bit to put on the rest of their costumes.
The Texas Bryces...
Mamo & Papo with their little Ladybug and Midnight Fairy.
The Leonard 4...
The Scheer Trio...
There was lots of running around while we were taking pictures and waiting for "Trick-or-Treat" time
The Big Sisters and the Little Sisters giggling and squealing....

The Big Kids Pics....Landry was over taking pictures, in fact we were having to bribe her with candy corn in a few shots.

Yep...these are the shots where we were bribing our youngest daughter with candy corn which is why she isn't looking at the camera....not even a little bit! These were the best pics of the girls together that we could get.

The girls are so gorgeous...love the costumes and GT is the gentleman as always! He did get to play around with Mr. Bobby and Mr. Bill a bit rough and tumble-football style.
The Mamas....don't you just love the matching Halloween shirts? We so didn't know the other one had the shirt and we looked like were teeny boppers who planned to wear matching outfits.
The big girls in the group.....such pretty pretty smiles!
Finally, the Trick-or-Treating began...we had to work out a plan of who was going to ring the doorbell and when. We decided to go youngest to oldest. It took a few houses for the kids to get it down, but they did. We were so proud of how polite they were without much prompting.

Landry LOVED the whole trick-or-treat gig. She thought it was super neat to get candy to put in her pumpkin. She loved walking up to the houses with the big kids, saying "tick-o-teet" and "tank you". She really liked it when the homeowners had "goggies" for her see. Everyone in the group took turns carrying her. She got tired of walking from house to house, but wanted to walk up to each door.

These kids had a TON of candy...way more than necessary but that is the fun of Halloween!

These kids are so sweet....they dumped out their buckets and immediately began "trading" candy with Carly. They would give Carly the candy she can eat and she would give them her chocolate and things she can't eat.

One of the houses gave out these silly glasses...it was funny to see the kids put them on.

After the candy trade, the candy check, and the kids each got to eat a piece of their candy the kids went to play while the grown ups chatted for a bit. Landry stayed with the grown ups and tried to convince someone to give her more candy. She was trying to check out everyone else's buckets. Miss Gina gave in and let her have some pretzels.

We had such a fun Halloween...it was a busy but fun day. We are especially glad we were able to spend this fun day with Mamo and Papo. It was fun for the girls to have them around and for Mamo and Papo to get to know their friends a little better.

Thanks so much for coming to visit Mamo & Papo....thanks Scheers and Leonards for coming to our "hood" to trick-or-treat with us. We had a splendid time....as usual!
