I guess you could say that it has become a tradition to host a shin-dig at our house on New Year's Eve. Last year I was not far away from having Landry so we thought we would host the party at our house since we weren't sure when we would be able to host a party after having sweet Landry. And this year, we knew Landry needed to be in her own bed so we hosted it again this year.
It was a very low key evening. Everyone brought an appetizer and a dessert and we munched and chatted, and munched and chatted. The big kids had a blast playing, then they watched 2 movies until midnight. Every single one of the kiddos stayed awake til midnight, but crashed immediately after. Everyone minus Landry counted down the seconds until the ball dropped...then we all toasted each other with sparkling apple cider for the kiddos, prego and nursing mamas while the rest of the crew had a bit of champagne.
