This big one year old and her night-night snack...Now that Landry isn't nursed just before bedtime, she gets to have a night-night snack just like her Big Sis. Her bedtime routine goes like this: bath, jammies, night-night snack, brush teeth, stories, songs, and in her bed.
She has done very well with weaning....the first night (Friday) Daddy put her to bed, not a peep out of her. He said she was a little confused and pointed at the door but did great! The second night, we were at a baby shower so she was up past bedtime. The third night...oh boy...this was the hardest. She cried off and on for almost an hour before going to sleep. On Monday night which was night four, she fussed for about 2 minutes then went to sleep. Tuesday night, Daddy was out of town so Mommy put her to bed...not a peep! And every night since then she goes to sleep with out a single peep!
After her bath tonight, we decided to take some pictures of her having her night-night snack. She has some milk and some crackers or goldfish as her snack. The bonus for her is that this is the only meal or snack she doesn't have to eat in her chair. She usually sits on the floor in the living room, but tonight I was putting the sheets back on her bed so she got to have it in her room. She loves her "nigh-nigh nak, nak, nak"!

She is saying "please" in sign language asking for her snack. The actual sign is rubbing one hand across your chest. For her, it is both hands over and over!
She's got her milk and crackers...
....and now she is a happy camper! She loves to do this new silly cheesey grin that shows her teeth...but in this case, it shows her crackers!
