How much fun is a box?

This is a box that Landry's birthday present from Aunt Kynda, Uncle Chris, and Bailey came in. The day it came, Ashton decided to make it her "tornado shelter". She colored on it with markers putting rain, lightning, tornadoes, and thunder all over it. She played with it for a while covering it in blankets to "protect" her from tornadoes.

Over the weekend it became a quiet peaceful lounging spot and today it was a fun place to play with her baby sister. I love watching how a plain cardboard box can be so many different things and so much fun at the same time! You will notice their hair...the box was also a fun place to bury their heads in.

I love how these sisters who are 5 and half years apart in age can still play together!
Ashton is helping Landry look at her reflection in this bucket...
Playing with some of the 8000 rubber duckies we have...
Over the weekend as Ashton's lounging spot...she was practicing her writing on her dry erase board listening to music.
