Cookie Decorating...

*You will have to temporarily excuse the mess of this post. Blogger won't load pictures right (I get codes instead of pictures until I hit post), I have no font selector, and I don't know why. I will get it fixed!

One of the traditions we have with Scheers and Leonards is cookie decorating. We take turns getting together at each other's houses and enjoy dinner, playing, chatting, and cookie decorating. We normally do it at Halloween but…we didn’t get it worked in to the crazy busy month of October so we fit it in for November. So on Tuesday after dance, everyone came over to our house to have hot dogs and French fries, playtime, and cookie decorating.

The kids always have so much fun…the big kids (everyone except Landry) played in Ashton’s room with the door closed since they were playing with things Landry couldn’t have. Every once in a while they would run out to the playroom to get more stuff. When they did this, Landry would get so excited and crawl as fast as she could to follow them back to Ashton’s room only to find they had already closed the door. She looked so sad sitting outside Ashton’s door waiting for the big kids to come back out. After a minute she would either crawl to her room to play or come back to find me. It is tough being the little sister sometimes!

Poor Landry...let me in please!

Ashton...enjoying her cookie

Grayson with his cookie masterpieces

Macy...tasting her cookie masterpieces!

Anna...smiling for us so she can eat one!

Carly...loving the icing the most!

The crew: Carly, Macy, Grayson, Ashton, & Anna (Landry was already in bed)

The silly face crew...so funny and cute!

After the cookie decorating, we cleaned up and we did the 2nd annual name drawing for gifts. We started this last year and they LOVED it. They pulled out someone’s name and that was who they bought a gift for. The funny part was, they wanted it to be a secret as to whose name they chose. They were so excited…they just couldn’t keep it a secret. Carly carried her paper (with Landry’s name on it) with her….it was too cute!

After the name drawing, we had some “winding down time” watching what else…Charlie Brown’s Thanksgiving! We had a lot of fun and can’t wait to decorate Christmas Cookies!

Great pictures of the cookie crew. Grayson's a lucky little boy to be surrounded by all those cute girls. Tell Landry that she can get even for being excluded from "big kid" stuff by "wetting" Ashton's bed later in life...worked for me!
