Ashton's American Girl Doll...Elizabeth at the Salon!Since I am not able to move my first picture (stinkin' Blogger) I will get to the explanation for this picture in a second. I will let you ponder that for a moment...
The day after Christmas Ashton, Daddy, Uncle Todd, and Papo went to Best Buy to get Ashton not one but two CDs for her Karaoke machine. She has been rocking out with Kelly Clarkson's "Break Away" and "Since You've Been Gone" along with Ashlee Simpson's "Pieces of Me". While they ran that errand the Mamos, Landry, and I went to Hallmark to check out their sale.
We met back for lunch and Landry's nap so we could move to the.most.exciting.part.of.the.day for Ashton...The American Girl Store. She had been saving her money for quite sometime so she wanted to spend her money there. She knew exactly what she wanted. So we headed to the Galleria...plus she wanted everyone to see the American Girl Store since Mamo was the only one that had been there before.
So as we arrive, she finds what she wants to buy and spots the salon. Yes...the doll hair salon! You can pay money to have your doll's hair done. I have to admit after nearly a year of owning Elizabeth her hair was kind of a mess. Ashton used her money to have it done. She was absolutely thrilled!
Ashton and Elizabeth got matching outfits for Christmas and naturally Ashton just HAD to wear it on our excursion. In fact, for nearly a week Ashton was dressed (in a complete outfit) each morning before coming out of her room.

Love it! Having a boy...sadly we will miss out on the American Girl CRAZ! We can live through you guys! Fun Fun!
