A Visit With the Olsons...

Since Aunt Kynda and Uncle Chris (some super great friends of ours) moved to Bastrop, Texas for Chris’ job….we haven’t seen them much. Since we had a free weekend…the last one for a while, we decided to go down and visit for the weekend.

We headed down to spend some time with them before Baby Bailey is due…and the girls did great for the 4 hour drive there and back!

When we arrived, Aunt Kynda and Uncle Chris had a scavenger hunt set up for Ashton. The first clue took her to the garage inside Chris’ car where she found a cute little seahorse that lights up and plays music for Landry. At each of the other clue sights, there was a little present for Ashton. She scored a new Ariel doll, Beauty and the Beast dress up figurines, and a huge princess coloring book with crayons, and a Tinker Bell Barbie named Silver Mist. Uncle Chris said he chose that one because it looked like Ashton with dark hair.

We had a great time eating at small town restaurants with great food, watching football and just chillin’. Thanks for having us…and we can’t wait to see y'all again soon!

I wasn’t able to get as many pictures as I would have liked…we spent most of our time following Miss Landry around…they have really pretty stained concrete floors and that meant absolutely nothing to Landry. It was tons of fun since she is in the pulling up stage.

Here are some of the pictures I was able to take…

Aunt Kynda made some yummy cookies for Ashton...

Poor Buster (who literally doesn’t move off of his bed very often and when he does, he is going to one of his other favorite sleeping spots) was completely worn out after being at the kennel all weekend! On Monday night, he was laying in the office with me, sleeping and snoring so hard. It was hilarious. I was up in his face with the flash taking pictures and he didn’t move or blink at all!
