Ashton brought home a bunch of papers in her folder and as usual we go through them and talk about what she did that was great and what we can work on and make sure she understands what she is learning. So we get to this book that she did during writing and she wants to read it to us. Here it is…
Notice the picture at the top of the page...She drew Landry's room crib and all!…and here is what it says (typed just as she wrote it with my translation in parenthesis):

Page 6: I have ever mete in my life. My sister is 9 mus old.
Page 7: She likes to play a lot. She has brown har.
Page 8: She has blue eys. She has tane scin
Page 9: Just like me. I play with her a lot did I say a lot yes!
Page 10: I love my sister vare much. And she loves me to.
Page 11: She like to play a lot with Baby dolls to. She is a
Page12: smile (smiley) baby and a giggle (giggly) baby too. I love her smiol!
The other thing that impressed me was her illustrations. She colored the walls to look like each of their rooms….hers yellow on top with a line then pink on the bottom. Landry’s are green on top with a line and pink on the bottom. She has balloons in the picture on page 1 with Landry laying on the bed at the hospital.
I mean…this is just one of the things that melts my heart about our big girl!

Sooo sweet...this makes me want to have another one so Reese will have a sister:)
I love the spellings...can just see her translating how the word sounds into letters...English is so difficult to learn all of the spellings.

I hadn't read your blog in a little while. The last few posts have been absolutely precious! What a sweetheart!!! Lucky she take after you rather than her daddy :) It definately made me smiol!
