Today was the day to take the boat out for some tubing fun. We had planned to do this on Friday but the weather didn’t cooperate. It really wasn’t the best weather today either until we were leaving to go back to Alabama after our visit with Grandmom. Of course…that is how it happens!
I didn’t go on the boat because Landry was taking a nap and I insisted that everyone else go and have fun. They ended up getting rained on but still had fun anyway.
Tubing is something Ashton has just come to like in the past 2 summers. Last summer she went in the tube with Mamo and her cousin Peyton. She didn’t want to go fast and she was very cautious. Again we said…what a difference a year makes. This year she went faster than last and really wasn’t scared at all. She had so much fun! She also used to get a little scared at first on the boat ride because she thought it would be loud. This year she didn’t cover her ears at all!
We don’t have any tubing pictures because it was raining and we didn’t want the camera to get ruined.

After a boat ride we went to visit Bobby’s other grandma and Aunt Kathi and Uncle Jack. We had a nice visit. Aunt Kathi and Uncle Jack drive in from Murfreesboro every time we are there to see us and we are so glad they do.

We had such a great time on our trip to Alabama. We enjoy seeing everyone and spending time with them each summer! Thanks for having us!
