Tonight we took the girls to the Heroes Baseball Game at the Rough Riders stadium here in Frisco. We took Ashton last year...she had a good time so we went again this year. I think this will be an annual tradition. Mike Modano hosts this event every year to raise money for his foundation. ESPN radio also sponsors it. We enjoy seeing the game and you get to see some celebs up close and personal and they do a great job of entertaining the crowd.
Tonight we didn't get to stay long...there were some serious storms in the area...we decided that it was better to leave before the downpour...we are glad we did. It poured on our way home...it would not have been fun to get out of there with both kiddos and the all the "stuff" not to mention all the people.
We still had fun while we were there. Ashton got lots of freebies, nachos for dinner and cotton candy for dessert. Landry enjoyed the new sounds and smells. She was in the Baby Bjorn with her little legs just a kickin'.
