Grampy's Birthday...

On Sunday we had my family who live in the Waco area up at our house to celebrate my dad’s birthday. We had a house full: Mom, Dad, and Ninny; Heather and her boys-Jon, Chris, and Brodie; Megan, Ricci, and their 6 month old son Parker. Parker is only about 3 weeks older than Landry and this was their first visit in which they even realized the other baby existed. It was funny to watch them play together. Landry sucked on Parker’s hand and elbow…he didn’t really appreciate it much.

It was a lot of fun. We had a nice taco lunch, Bobby took my Dad and 3 nephews (who love football) to see where Deion Sanders lives. He lives not too far from here as well as a few other pro athletes. My mom took Ashton swimming (which they both loved) while Megan and I fed the babies. Once the babies were fed, the rest of us headed to the pool to watch while Ninny took a nap and stayed cool…smart lady! The boys joined the swimming fun after their sight seeing trip.

Then it was back to the house for cake, ice cream, and presents. Ashton made my dad a birthday card and Grammy put it on her blog. She was tickled to see that Grammy put it on her blog!

We were so glad we could celebrate Grampy’s special day!

Grammy snuggled Landry to sleep...she was a non-napper today!

What a difference 5 months makes:

They look like TOTALLY different babies!
