Sweet & Sassy

One of the many things Ashton and I have in common is that we LOVE to get our haircut. In the last year we had to find a new place for her to get her haircut since the place we used to take to her closed down. So we found Sweet & Sassy…it is totally made for little girls and she loves this place!

She gets her head massaged, hair washed and gets to pick the smell of her shampoo…last time was strawberry and today was orange. Then she gets to go to the fancy purple chair and the haircut begins. Radio Disney type music is playing in the background. When the haircut is finished and her hair is blown dry, comes Ashton’s favorite part of the whole trip…sparkles in the hair, a smell (she chose cotton candy today), and sparkle stars on her cheeks! Last time she got purple and today was pink on both sides of her face. She got to choose a sucker and it isn’t your typical dum-dum…it is a fancy heart on a long clear stick with a pink cellophane wrapper and a bow!

The end all was that she had her $8 burning a hole in her purse….we had been to Target to get Fancy Nancy (one of her favorite book characters) dress up stuff which just came out. She didn’t have enough and I couldn’t convince her to save her money for one more week since the cheapest item was $9.99…so she picked out a sparkly star headband from Sweet and Sassy…which tickled her to pieces.

The sparkle stars, and headband...

The haircut...I tried to get a picture of the sparkles but it didn't work out very well~I think you can see two!
