Landry has hit the two week old mark...which means she had another check up.
We took Landry to her 2 week check up yesterday and Ashton didn't have school so she was able to go with us...this was exciting for her because the check up wasn't for her. She wanted to make sure the doctor wasn't going to do anything to her since it wasn't her turn. She was also very concerned with what the doctor was going to do to Landry. This was also the first time both girls got to ride in the car together...a huge milestone for a big sister!
Our girls!
Landry now weighs 6 lbs and 1 oz. The doctor is not concerned with her weight at this point...she was 5 lbs 10 oz when she left the hospital after birth and is now a little above her birthweight and this is the goal at this check up. However, her jaundice is still not gone...in fact it rebounded a bit which is normal. He said that there is no need to worry since she is having wet and dirty diapers and she is eating well. Her biliruben level this time was a 15. He wouldn't have done a test on this but she was having blood taken anyway for her PKU screening.
Ashton is reading a book to Landry
On Sunday we all got to meet my newest nephew. Parker was born about 3 weeks before Landry and we were not able to go to Waco to see him and this didn't make Ashton very happy. So Megan and Ricci brought Parker to our house on Sunday so they could see Landry and we could see Parker. Parker is much bigger than Landry...he weighs 10 and half pounds to Landry's 6 pounds. Ashton says that Parker looks like he is 2...we are still working on the concept of age when it comes to babies. The whole months and weeks thing is so confusing to a 5 year old.I absolutely love his raspy voice! Here are pictures of the kiddos.

Ashton started swimming lessons again...this is what she ditched soccer for. So now we are dancing and swimming! Yesterday she and I went shopping just he two of us for some much needed mommy and Ashton time. We were shopping for earmuffs (I told her they probably don't sell these in Texas but she insisted) and matching valentine outfits for her and Landry. We ended up the leaving the mall with a dress for her to wear to the "Daddy Daughter Dance". She chose it all by herself. Her daddy is taking her back to the mall to get shoes! Very exciting stuff for a little girl!

I love being able to get pictures of the girls off of here and the girls also enjoy reading about them...they especially loved when Ashton called Landry a "drama queen"! Im looking forward to seeing you guys this weekend. Love, Jenn
Those girls of ours are so precious. Ashton, I love your hair! It looks so pretty and neat---I can tell your Mommy fixed it--and not your Mamo! I hope Landry enjoys the stories you are reading to her. Love, Mamo
Ashton looks so big in these pictures. You can tell she's going to be a great big sister :) Glad that everything is going better for you guys!
